The Parents and Citizens' Association is running four major events in 2026. Find out more about each event below. Consider attending the events to support the fundraising initiatives the P&C Association is striving to achieve to improve the school environment for our children.

Open Day BBQ 2026

​Term Two Week 6
Thursday 28 May 2026

Year 7 families can tour the school from 3.00pm - 7.00pm. The Parents and Citizens' Association will fire up three BBQs to serve FREE sausages in Town Square:
(a) Beef, gluten-free, Halal snags
(b) Vegetarian snags.
Each year we need a dozen volunteers to fill the roster to ensure we keep the food and drinks flowing.  Keep your eye out on the Indooroopilly SHS Parents Facebook page for the sign-up sheet closer to the time.

Trivia Night 2026

2026 Saturday

The annual Trivia Night is back in 2026. Held at the MPH, this alcohol-free event invites the Year 7-12 Indro High Students to a battle of fun & facts, alongside parents, carers & staff. With a theme to be decided - the biggest question remains, just who will triumph in this trivia showdown?

UN Night 2026
A Celebration of Culture & Connection

​Term Two Week Nine
19 June 2026 Friday

Indro High is currently home to 92 rich and diverse cultures, and in 2026 we’re dreaming big. On 19 June 2026, the P&C - together with the school - hopes to bring our community together for UN Night, an outdoor evening of food, music, activities and cultural celebration. Building on the energy of the students’ UN Day, this event will open the gates from 3pm to 8pm, to families, alumni and the wider community, inviting everyone to reconnect with the school and celebrate the diversity that makes Indro High so special.

Staff Xmas Lunch 2026

After a successful trial in 2025, the P&C Association is repeating the approach to support the staff Christmas lunch by asking parents and their teenagers to bake, create, make and donate dessert dishes for the school staff.
